She worked as a columnist at daytime and contemplated writing while traveling back home in the evenings. Kinsella’s occupation was that of a financial journalist before venturing into fiction writing. For her basic education, Kinsella attended Putney-based Putney High School before being admitted to New College, an Oxford University-affiliated institution at the aforementioned constituent college, Kinsella initially pursued music studies prior to switching to a combination including politics and economics.

However, Rebecca has also amassed a mountain of debt thanks to her expensive shopping habit, with the irony being that as she is dispensing financial advice, she cannot keep control of her own due to her additions.
